The New Zealand cricket team’s training session faced cancellation in Rawalpindi on Friday due to unfavorable weather conditions. The team had scheduled practice ahead of their second T20I against Pakistan, slated for Saturday.
The first match of the series, scheduled for Thursday, was called off due to persistent rain in Rawalpindi. However, there’s optimism, as the Weather Channel indicates a reduced chance of rain for the second T20I on April 20. The likelihood has decreased to 24 percent from the previous day’s 49 percent.
Better prospects arise for Sunday’s third T20I, with a forecast of clear skies and only a 12 percent chance of rain. After the initial three matches at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, both teams will shift to Lahore for the remaining two T20Is on April 25 and 27, respectively.
