Kia aims to make electric vehicles more accessible by targeting an entry-level price below £30,000 (Rs. 1.04 Crore) in the UK, with the intention of attracting more buyers to electric cars. However, prices in Pakistan may be higher due to factors like dealer expenses and import tariffs.
The EV3 will utilize Hyundai Motor Group’s electric platform, also used in Kia’s Niro EV, offering flexibility in powertrains and battery sizes to cater to various requirements.
Powered by this platform, the EV3 is anticipated to deliver solid performance, starting at approximately 215 bhp. While charging speeds may be slightly slower due to the electric setup, the platform’s efficiency and cost-effectiveness make it a sensible choice for Kia’s new electric model.
