The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts more rain, wind, thunderstorms, and isolated heavy falls with hailstorms in Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Friday night through Sunday.
A westerly wave prevailing over upper and central Pakistan is causing these conditions.
Areas likely to be affected include Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, and more. Peshawar’s temperatures are expected to range from 36–38 °C on Saturday and 33–35 °C on Sunday.

In the past 24 hours, rain, wind, and thunderstorms have already occurred in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Significant rainfall was recorded in Bannu, Dir, and other areas. Dera Ismail Khan experienced the highest temperature at 41°C, while Peshawar reached 35°C.
The evening relative humidity was 29% in Dera Ismail Khan and 63% in Peshawar. Residents are advised to stay updated on weather alerts and precautions, as these conditions persist.
