Karachi: The cost of solar panels has witnessed a notable decline, with prices now reaching Rs. 40 per watt or less, according to solar panel dealers.
The average rates across different types and brands have also plummeted to Rs. 37 per watt. This significant drop, attributed to oversupply in the market, has resulted in a remarkable 30% decrease in solar panel prices within a mere six-month period.
Such affordability is anticipated to spur greater adoption of solar energy solutions among residents and businesses in Karachi.
