Pakistan’s women’s cricket team gears up for their tour to England this month, with a 17-player squad announced by the newly-appointed selection committee.
The tour comprises three T20Is scheduled from May 11–17 and three ODIs from May 23–29, marking Pakistan’s final assignment in the ongoing cycle of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022–25.
Currently holding the fifth position with 16 points in the ICC Women’s Championship standings, Pakistan aims to secure their spot in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. The top five teams from this championship, along with hosts India, will directly qualify.
Additionally, Pakistan will play two warm-up matches during their first tour of England since 2016. The team is set to depart for the tour on Sunday, May 5.

Pakistan squad
Led by captain Nida Dar, the squad comprises players like Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, and Muneeba Ali, among others. The support personnel include manager Nahida Khan, interim head coach Mauhtashim Rasheed, and a team of coaches and staff to ensure the team’s preparation and welfare.
Tour schedule
The tour schedule includes warm-up matches against ECB Development XI on May 9 and 21, followed by T20Is and ODIs in different venues across England.
The matches promise exciting cricket action and an opportunity for Pakistan’s women cricketers to showcase their skills on the international stage once again.
